long time since i last blogged. o.o
A level has ended.
a long holiday has arrived.
what have i been doing?
playing
slacking
going out with friends
watch tv
shopping
...
but not exercising. =(
im persuading my mum to bring me to the pool at SGCC. ^^
first, my parents said go london.
then changed to hokkaido.
then changed to taiwan.
then changed to hongkong.
i think lastly will just remain in singapore -.-
anyway, i shall just blog about today just in case i forgot. =P
today, i went for a talk by my tuition teacher.
he was awesome.
in the speech, he also mentioned about the differences between judge and assess.
this struck me because there was someone who always claimed that he will never ever judge people.
he may be true.
but assessment is unavoidable.
judge is when you think whether the person is good or bad.
assess is when you think whether the person is right or wrong.
but of course when the person does something wrong, you will naturally think that the person is a bad person, and vice versa, unless you understand the person very well.
this is where first impression comes in.
so, somehow, there is still judgement.
his talk is very interesting, especially when he is a psychologist.
he taught us a wide range of knowledge and help us find our personal voice.
confusion.
it is something which all of us go through.
actually, we are all seldom confused.
we are only confused when what others say do not tally with what we think.
so we just stuck there and not move on, and think that we are confused.
if we are genuinely confused, and we clarify, we ought to be not confused.
but if it persists, then it has got to do with how others and yourself think.
somehow, at the back of your head, you had already got the answer.
but others' opinions are different, so you remained 'confused'.
to snap out of confusion, just follow your heart and believe in yourself.
it is related to procrastination.
'confusion' causes you to pause and think and contemplate and procrastinate.
it is a bad habit which should be eliminated.
i cant wait to see my tuition teacher for more interesting talks! ^^
