last day of the first week of school
friday...
we were to report to school at 8.30 every friday as the teachers had some morning exercises.
and i was late!
woke up at 7.30 and woke my father up to make him fetch me to school.
but i was still late due to the morning jam.
when i reached school, i saw the late comers standing outside very still, so i suppose they were singing the national anthem.
luckily i was not the only late comer and the teacher did not record our names and stuff.
we just walked past the discipline master one by one for the spot check and went to the hall.
first was physics lecture.
managed to grab a seat or we would sit on the steps.
the teachers cracked jokes and it was really an interesting lecture.
he played a video of how a person jump from a building to the next without getting hurt.
then there was an introduction to this new cca: S*STAR.
for promotion purpose, the teachers even showed us a 'magic trick'.
he could make an egg squeese into the conical flask, just by using a lighter and a newspaper.
and later, the egg was too big to come out of the conical flask.
later was chemistry lecture. >.<
the teacher was strict as she has ground rules for us to obey.
she started a lesson with us.
during the short break, i was busy asking my friend what was she talking about.
then there was this homework with 4 mcq questions.
everyone complained that throughout the whole lecture, we were busy copying, and when we finish, we did not catch what she explained.
i SO must learn to like chemistry!!!
after the 2 lectures, we went back to the hall for performance from the performing arts.
first up was guzhen.
second was guitar.
next was band.
then was choir. (it was pathetic)
finally was dance. (their long sleeve was cool)
i think i did not write in order or did i miss out some?
briefing:
monday and tuesday must wear new pe attire.
sit in our new classes.
bring ODT.
school ends at 5 for both days!!!
(did i miss out anything else?)
i resumed my electone lessons at yamaha.
this time, it was so much tougher because its diploma.
when my teacher went through the exam format and stuff, i listened with dread.
just for a grade5, two exams have to be taken.
and the passing mark is 75/100.
sadly, even if i get 74.5/100, its still a fail!
there are teachers who retake so many times, and still fail!
this made us so worried.
just the first day of lesson, and she gave us 2 scores to pratice already.
so worried that this will clash with my cca (what ever it is) as cca days are usually wednesdays and fridays.
