first few days of school life
first thing first, er...thank you royston for spamming my tagbox... =.=''
all the 'tagged's put together formed a rather nice pattern...
so thanks for decorating my tag box too... =.=''
okay, so hows school?
i have to say, overall, its boring.
second day of school was boring up to a 100%.
all we did was sit and listen to boring subject talks.
except for a few teachers who really made the effort to make the talk interesting.
like a history teacher started off by saying 'hi, beautiful!', and he expected us to reply 'hi, handsome!', but obviously we din't.
after all the talks and break, we went back to the classroom with our OG tutors.
there were mr lee and mr chong.
they really tried very hard to let us interact more with each other.
mr lee even ran out of things to say to us.
so he spoke to us about his life. -.-''
third day of school was rather crazy!
we went back to class with the OG tutors.
as usual, mr lee did not know what to say.
so he came out witha few lame things to say, like the watermelon and a ice cube at each end of the seesaw, and after 5minutes, which side does the seesaw tilts towads.
and also, the 1h mosquito coil thing.
one more was the 6 toothpicks how to form 4 similiar triangles.
then after this, we went back to the hall to learn the school song, college dance and college cheer...
the student leaders and OG leaders were very humourous and enthusiastic.
the dance was...not very interesting...
it was some sort of couple dance, so we were suppose to pair up with the opposite gender.
lucky for me and my OG, there were not enough girls, so the boys pair with each other, and the girls follow suit.
and it was so confusing and cramp. >.<
after school, i bought my school uniform.
i din't know even people from good schools cut queues...
sadly, the collar pin was out of stock and that was the one i can't wait to have.
i had to tuck in shirts for 10 years...
fourth day of school, which is also today, was a little boring too.
lectures from 8 to 12.30.
first was GP, and the teacher made us choose one of the three topics and write an argumentative essay on the spot.
my brain was all rusty and my handwriting was almost illegible.
i think i wrote less than 400 words as i could not think of what to write.
next was econs, and it was a little interesting as the teachers prepared slideshows of batman, robbin and a hk actor.
it was like comic, and really funny.
after the fun was boring again.
then it was bio.
there was no space, making us sit on the last steps, until my legs cramp.
the teacher was talking about virus, HIV, RNA, DNA, transcription, translation, etc. (this was actully all i remembered...)
she said that we had to buy the bio lecture book on next thursday (hope i don't forget!).
lastly was maths.
the teacher was impatient and scary.
when he spoke through the mike, it was so loud until there were vibrations that would scare people out of their skin.
he even had rules in the maths lesson and did not allow a boy to go to the toilet as he said that there should be a 10minutes break between lectures (but the class before that ended late!).
he also called people's names to answer maths questions.
wah, im so lucky today.
then we went back to the hall for a briefing.
we had to bring our ODT on monday and the civics tutor will collect them (hope i did not forget!).
tomorrow, i will know my civics class.
and i had a feeling that i would miss my OG if we got into different civics class.
though i din't speak to all of them, they seems to be all nice people. =)
