how did i spent my xmas eve?
i went to yichin's house with zhanhao, heezhi and jason, on christmas eve for some sports.
we were supposed to meet at 9.30am at yichin's house, but it was raining, so yichin could not wake up.
but in the end, we decided to meet at 10 plus.
i saw my fierce and scary tuition classmate, shawn.
to my surprise, he gave me a friendly nod.
when i reached, it was still drizzling, so we played Guitar Hero World Tour!!!
we were supposed to meet at 9.30am at yichin's house, but it was raining, so yichin could not wake up.
but in the end, we decided to meet at 10 plus.

when i reached, it was still drizzling, so we played Guitar Hero World Tour!!!
zhanhao sang in the mike melodiously while yichin played the guitar like some professional guitarist.
jason went to use the computer.
yichin asked who wanted to play the guitar, and i voluntarily took it over.
zhanhao played a song in his hp and yichin said it was sick.
it was a man singing the chorus at such high pitch.
zhanhao said that he was the only man who could sing at that pitch.
while i was playing the guitar, my hp in my pocket vibrated non stop, so i knew it was a call.
being in a fluster, i began shouting to pause the song as i did not know how to pause it.
the first call was my mother, while the second was heeai.
when talking to heeai, yichin went down to open the gate for heezhi.
when he was back, he was like 'wa, still talking.'
after another round of GHWT.
there was this girl jogging around the carpark.
the boys commented that nobody will wear a cap when jogging.
they also made fun of the way she ran.
i had to admit, the way she ran was...unique.
yichin was saying that she looked old and wearing an acjc(if i did not forget) jacket.
i tried to look at her face, but she wore her cap almost covering her whole face.

at first, yichin played against zhanhao, while heezhi played against jason in the other table.
zhanhao said that the table should be longer.
there was once when yichin tried to serve, and the ball flew upward and hit the ceiling and dropped down on his head.
made me think of newton and his apple.
zhanhao and i were laughing and said that it should be caught in a video.
so sorry to yichin who played against me as he had to tolerate my noobness in table tennis.
i must also thank yichin for trying to teach me how to play table tennis.
when heezhi came over and played with yichin, he created a 'dance' which consist of my 'sounds'.
they sounded a little like those vowels (a,e,i,o,u) to me.
he would be like 'now i use "ee".'
and then he would hit the ball while saying 'ee'.
heezhi smacked the ball with the bat, and yichin could not manage to counter it. so yichin said that he will counter it one day.
but he only manage it once in so many smacks.
the boys also tried to spin.
after the heavy drizzle stop, we went up to yichin's house to exchange the bats to rackets and went down again to book the court.
it was so embarrassing when a man came out from his meeting to confront the boys when they bounced the basketball.
it was again that humorous security guard who came to open the gate and he said something like it was a wet weather and we were still playing.
i tried playing basketball at first.
i was a little unconfortable holding the drenched ball, but once, it actually touched my shirt and i got so freaked out.
so sorry to zhanhao and yichin who saw me in that embarrassing scene.
i always threw the ball at the one pointer as i even had no energy to throw at the second pointer.
it seemed so effortless for the boys to throw the ball in while i used 9 cow 2 tiger's energy but to no avail.
thank you zhanhao who told me to aim at the rectangle above the net.
after he told me to do so, i managed to shoot it in right after that.
he said that this was called 'lan2 ban3 qiu2', so must aim at the board.
i always thought i was suppose to aim for the net itself.
i learnt something new that day!

later, zhanhao and yichin went to play badminton while heezhi and jason played basketball.
i was enjoying myself even by just watching them play.
after they were bored, the basketball boys joined the badminton boys and played doubles.

there was once when yichin served the shuttercork and it hit zhanhao.
the rest of us bursted out laughing and yichin was as surprised.
zhanhao said something like 'no player will serve the shutter cork at the team mate.'
zhanhao then switch with heezhi.
after playing a while, heezhi said 'zhanhao, i now understand your pain.'
soon, zhanhao had to leave so he and yichin went up to take his bag.
meanwhile, jason tried teaching me how to play badminton.
thank you to jason as i learnt another thing new that day.
while playing, heezhi was at the side talking to jason.
after yichin and zhanhao returned, they continued badminton.
thoughtful zhanhao gave up his place for me to play all the above sports when he saw me SSS.

outside, there was this poster saying to employ people who are...(ohno, i had forgotten, but it was something like...) happy and outgoing...?/cheerful...?

heeai was laughing almost nonstop when someone said 'pepperoni' as 'paparazzi'.

yichin ordered a 10inch hawaii pizza and i ate 2 slices.
after eating, yichin wanted to order another 7inch pizza, but all of us were too full, so this idea was not proceeded.
while eating, heezhi spoke about the 'le jia ba buea?'.
yichin dared him to go to the lady waiting outside and say that to her and offer her a pizza.
of course heezhi did not do it but he scared us by going out.
and eventually just waved hi through the glass.
we were amazed at heezhi's memory as he could recite the dialogues in the singapore movie of the 'le jia ba buea?' scene.
we left pasta mania and went to the tpy interchange to wait for kimwee.
meanwhile, the girls went to take some pictures.
after kimwee came, i (accidentally) took a photo of him and he said 'see la, when im here, people just cannot resist taking pictures of me.'
we tried to get yongcai out but to no avail.
so we trained down to sommerset (i think) to catch twilight (suggested by kimwee and strongly supported by me).
other movies were suggested like 'yes man', etc.
there were a big fat crowd in orchard and while crossing the traffic light, some people sprayed foam at each other.
when we reached cineplex, sadly, the tickets of twilight were sold out.
heeai was fascinated about the little christmas hat some people had on their heads.
since the tickets were sold out, we went back to the mrt and travelled to marina bay.
we were suppose to go marina bay (near the sea) but we went out the wrong exit and ended at some construction site.
we ran across roads as there were no cars.
that place was rather deserted other than seeing construction workers once in a while.
we walked and walked nonstop until we saw civilisation.
we entered mac donals and i ordered chocolate sundae.
the waiter was unbelievabily polite.
jason saw his friend and went away to talk to him.
the rest of us sat at a table and remincing primary school's bits and pieces.
almost everything in school was spoken about.
from the things happening between students to the hostile attitude of some teachers.
speaking of my hamsters, i still had no slight memory of me bringing them to school...
needless to say me forgetting them being tortured.
they were also talking about the teachers.
somebody said that miss neo was one of those rare few normal teachers.
to my surprise, they even remembered their primary1 teachers and commented about them.
sadly, as for me, i guess i really had a major brainwash somewhere that caused my memory to be gone!!
its all up to you guys to help me bring my memory back...
at 12am, it was christmas.
it was also the time macs had to close for the day.
so we went to a nearby bustop and checked the bus numbers to head home.
our direction was across the road, so we climbed up the overhead bridge where heeai whiped out her camera to take group photos.
oohyaa, i saw my favourite bear (friends forever)...
but i guess they would think i was crazy when i got overly excited.
anyway, we took two group photos as i guess one of them was too far.
we got to the other side and waited for bus 145.
not long after, the bus arrived.
towards the end of the journey, there were nobody else in the bus except us.
we took the back seats and chatted all the way home.
some brief topics were religions, roller blading, etc.

so yichin and heezhi escorted me to my parents' car at a bustop.

this marks the end of the christmas eve/christmas day.
i had an enjoyable time.
especially that day was a 'countdown' and i got to stay out late.
even better, it was them who i went out with.
hope that we can go for countdowns every year, be it xmas, new year, cny, etc.
when i was home, my parents passed me a gift from auntie chris.
i love the little pouch she gave me.
it was so sweet of her.
even the packaging was so attractive!
i love it totally.
